Georgetown & Stocking Island....  Our Southern Most Point! Spill The Wine's crew at the iconic Chat 'N' Chill Bar - Stocking Island Chat 'N' Chilling is apparently what all the sailboats do around here -  I'd guess approximately 150 of them!    We thought there were lots of other boats at Big Majors, but this place is a sailboat mecca!   We were lucky and found an opening in the anchorage somewhat close to the iconic Chat-n-Chill bar which is the heart of Stocking Island and the whole Georgetown experience. Water Angel Barb The light from the holes in the dome inside the grotto lit Barb up just like an angel Michael inside the Cave  The grotto was featured in the James Bond movie Thunderball..... now we're dying to see the film.   We can report diving into the underwater entrance does kinda make you feel like James Bond.

Nurse Sharks Swimming in the Marina Even though they are only nurse sharks, it does make one a little extra careful when getting on and off a boat at Staniel Cay.   It's a little eerie watching the sharks swim around your boat day and night! This Shark seemed to like Spill The Wine Typical Street Sign This was a typical street sign we encountered while exploring the island.  Pretty relaxed place.  The restaurant/bar at the marina is the place to be! St. Luke's Medical Clinic Here's the medical center..... after careful inspection, if I ever need medical attention, this would be my absolute first pick! Out to dinner at the Hill House on nearby Fowl Cay

Really!  No Kidding!  There are PIGS on the BEACH!!! Big Majors Cay is famous for this, and while we thought we were ready, it still seems unbelievable. Wait a second, there is a PIG in the DINGY! We were immediately greeted by a red pig who literally jumped in our dingy.  All the way in! Pigs do not belong in a dingy!   I was stunned that he actually jumped in, and then came the matter of getting him out.  I've never lifted a pig before.... not sure that's a good idea.  But finally the answer came to us.... tempt him with the apples and carrots we brought. Feeding the pigs our supply of carrots and apples Not only did the red pig jump out of the dingy, he snorted with such excitement at seeing the carrots all of his friends came charging. This little Piggy likes Apples ... and this little Piggy likes Carrots and this is NO LITTLE PIGGY! There is a sign posted on the beach to not ride the pigs.... ...

We've heard many people say that this area is perhaps the most beautiful spot in the whole world.... We're not about to argue! On the mooring ball at low tide Spill The Wine from Boo Boo Hill Barb made be do this.... ha ha ha, you so funny Barb! Wide Angle from Boo Boo Hill We spent a full day walking nearly all the trails on Warderick Beach Time! To find a beach all to yourself, all you have to do is hop in your dingy and pick one out....  It's really that simple.

Cambridge is one of the last Cays in the Land & Sea Park....  Yet Another Beautiful Spot!   Next time, we'll spend a little more time here... two nights wasn't enough. Making Landfall in the Exumas We’ve been to the Exuma Land and Sea Park once before and since that time we promised ourselves we’d return when we could stay longer. Next Time, I'm bringing a Frisbee! The locals will tell you that every island in the Bahamas has its own personality…. We’ve already found that to be true.   When we brought our dingy ashore, we were met by three local dogs who decided to accompany us on our walk.  White sandy beaches, swimming pool water, and friendly dogs… who can complain?
